Continuing the 130th Anniversary of Little Tokyo celebration, LTHS and the Little Tokyo Branch of the Los Angeles Public Library are presenting “Japanese Ghost Stories.”
Through the support of a 2010 Terasaki Community Outreach Program Grant, the Little Tokyo Historical Society will be honoring Hayahiko Takase.
The Far East Cafe, one of several Chop Suey restaurants in Little Tokyo during its heyday, was one of the most popular and well-known eateries.
Little Tokyo Clayworks
“Fire” “Earth” “Spirit” …basic elements of ceramics. Simple strong strokes combine fire and clay to create a spirit in art. This spirit has led to the formation of the California Japanese Ceramics Arts Guild and Little Tokyo Clayworks.
